Consortium for

Cultural Literacy

CCLA, a collective of educators, artists, scholars, and cultural practitioners shaping the future of arts-based learning.

The Consortium for Cultural Literacy in the Arts (CCLA) is KkalaKkirti’s academic and artistic council — a collaborative team of internal faculty from Kkala and renowned external artists from across India and the world.

Together, they contribute to the design, delivery, and continuous evolution of our programs, ensuring that every learning experience is both creatively enriching and academically rigorous.

CCLA members represent diverse performing arts traditions — including classical and contemporary music, dance, theatre, movement practices, creative writing, storytelling, wellness, and arts pedagogy. Each mentor brings a lived practice, cultural depth, and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of thoughtful, expressive learners.
