Joshi

Vaishnavi Joshi is an arts manager, theatre practitioner, and trained Kathak dancer whose work bridges culture, community, and creative enterprise. With a BA in Theatre from Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune, and a PG Diploma in Arts Management & Cultural Policy from University College Dublin, she designs sustainable and inclusive arts ecosystems—especially for folk, independent, and interdisciplinary forms.

  • International Engagements: Worked with the Dublin Theatre Festival; delegate at UNESCO ITI World Performing Arts Summit, Fujairah; trained in international arts management frameworks in Italy.

  • Arts Management & Capacity Building: Led programmes at Anahad Foundation to empower folk musicians, including partnerships with Microsoft and high-impact artist livelihood initiatives.

  • Theatre & Curriculum Development: Designed school theatre curricula for K-12 Techno Services; managed outreach for Rangabhasha Theatre Company.

  • Collaborations: Works with Indianostrum Theatre (Pondicherry), Tiny Tales Theatre, and independent musicians like Arjun Chandran on artistic development and audience engagement.

  • Workshops & Teaching: Designed and facilitated modules on arts management, cultural entrepreneurship, and collaborative creation for institutions including Lalit Kala Kendra (Pune) and grassroots cultural organisations.
